Functions of a Real Variable, chapter V, Appendix 0. Hardy Fields. (H) Functions

Every Hardy field contains the field of rational constants (the smallest field of characteristic 0, cf. Alg., V, §1), which one can identify with the field Q\mathbf{Q}; moreover, since two constants cannot be congruent modulo R∞R_\infty unless they are equal, Q/R∞\mathbf{Q}/R_\infty is identical to Q\mathbf{Q}. The real constants also form a Hardy field, which one can identify with R\mathbf{R}.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
