Integration, IV, p. 60, § 5. Measurable functions and sets

Let (Fn)(F_n) be a sequence of topological spaces and, for each nn, let fnf_n be a measurable mapping of XX into FnF_n. For every compact set K⊂XK \subset X and every ε>0\varepsilon > 0, there exists a compact set K0⊂KK_0 \subset K such that ∣μ∣(K−K0)≤ε|\mu|(K - K_0) \leq \varepsilon and the restriction to K0K_0 of each of the functions fnf_n is continuous.

For each integer n≥1n \geq 1 there exists a compact set Kn⊂KK_n \subset K such that ∣μ∣(K−Kn)≤ε/2n|\mu|(K - K_n) \leq \varepsilon / 2^n and the restriction of fnf_n to KnK_n is continuous. The set K0=⋂n=1∞KnK_0 = \bigcap_{n=1}^\infty K_n is compact, the restrictions to K0K_0 of all of the functions fnf_n are continuous and, since K−K0K - K_0 is contained in the union of the K−KnK - K_n, ∣μ∣(K−K0)≤∑n=1∞ε/2n=ε|\mu|(K - K_0) \leq \sum_{n=1}^\infty \varepsilon / 2^n = \varepsilon.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
