Integration, chapter VIII, § 5. The space of closed subgroups

— Let KK be a compact subset of GG, VV a symmetric compact neighborhood of ee in GG, cc a real number >0> 0. The restriction of the mapping α↦∥μα∥\alpha \mapsto \| \mu_\alpha \| to the set of α∈Γ0\alpha \in \Gamma^0 such that G=KHαG = KH_\alpha and α(V)≥c\alpha(V) \geq c is vaguely continuous.

For, let g∈K+(G)g \in \mathscr{K}_+(G) be a function such that g(x)≥1/cg(x) \geq 1/c for x∈KVx \in KV. For every x∈Kx \in K,

∫g(xs) dα(s)≥∫Vg(xs) dα(s)≥1 \int g(xs)\, d\alpha(s) \geq \int_V g(xs)\, d\alpha(s) \geq 1

for α\alpha satisfying the conditions of the statement; since, moreover, πα(K)=Qα\pi_\alpha(K) = Q_\alpha, one has α∈Γ0(g)\alpha \in \Gamma^0(g), whence the corollary.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
