Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter II, § 8. Convergence of the Hausdorff series (ultrametric case)

∥H~r,s∥≤a−(r+s−1)θ. \| \tilde{H}_{r,s} \| \leq a^{-(r+s-1)\theta}.

Let B be a Hall set relative to I and let Hr,s=∑b∈BλbebH_{r,s} = \sum_{b \in B} \lambda_b e_b be the decomposition of Hr,sH_{r,s} with respect to the corresponding basis of L({U,V})L(\{U, V\}). Then

∣λb∣≤a−(r+s−1)θ. |\lambda_b| \leq a^{-(r+s-1)\theta}.
This is trivial for p=0p = 0, for λb∈Q\lambda_b \in \mathbf{Q}; and it follows from Proposition 1 of no. 1 for p≠0p \neq 0.

Moreover,

∥e~b∥≤1for b∈B. \| \tilde{e}_b \| \leq 1 \quad \text{for } b \in B.
We show more generally by induction on nn that, for every alternant bb of degree nn in the two indeterminates U and V (§ 2, no. 6), ∥b~∥≤1\| \tilde{b} \| \leq 1. If n=1n = 1, b~\tilde{b} is one of the projections of g×gg \times g onto gg and hence is of norm ≤1\leq 1; if n>1n > 1, there exist two alternants b1b_1 and b2b_2 of degrees <n< n such that b=[b1,b2]b = [b_1, b_2]. As the mapping γ:(x,y)↦[x,y]\gamma : (x, y) \mapsto [x, y] of g×gg \times g into gg is bilinear of norm ≤1\leq 1, we have (Differentiable and Analytic Manifolds, R, Appendix, no. 4)
∥b~∥=∥γ∘(b~1,b~2)∥≤∥b~1∥⋅∥b~2∥≤1. \| \tilde{b} \| = \| \gamma \circ (\tilde{b}_1, \tilde{b}_2) \| \leq \| \tilde{b}_1 \| \cdot \| \tilde{b}_2 \| \leq 1.
Relations (11) and (12) imply the lemma.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
