Let G be a finite-dimensional real or complex Lie group, g its Lie algebra, A an integral subgroup of G and a=L(A). Then ZG(A)=ZG(a), zg(A)=zg(a) and ZG(A) is a Lie subgroup of G with Lie algebra zg(a).
Let x∈G. Then
x∈ZG(A)⟺A⊂ZG({x})⟺a⊂L(ZG({x}))(§ 6, Corollary 2 to Proposition 3)⟺a⊂zg({x})(Proposition 8)⟺x∈ZG(a)
and hence ZG(A)=ZG(a). Let u∈g. Then
u∈zg(A)⟺A⊂ZG({u})⟺a⊂L(ZG({u}))(§ 6, Corollary 2 to Proposition 3)⟺a⊂zg({u})(Proposition 7)⟺u∈zg(a)
and hence zg(A)=zg(a). The last assertion then follows from Proposition 7 or Proposition 8.
Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
