Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 9. Commutators, centralizers and normalizers in a Lie group

Let GG be a finite-dimensional real or complex Lie group, G0G_0 its identity component, RR its radical and rr the radical of L(G)L(G); suppose that G/G0G/G_0 is finite. Let ρ\rho be a finite-dimensional analytic linear representation of GG. The following conditions are equivalent: (i) ρ\rho is semi-simple; (ii) ρ∣G0\rho|G_0 is semi-simple; (iii) ρ∣R\rho|R is semi-simple; (iv) L(ρ)L(\rho) is semi-simple; (v) L(ρ)∣rL(\rho)|r is semi-simple. (i) ⇔\Leftrightarrow (ii) by Lemma 2 and Integration, Chapter VII, § 3, Proposition 1. (ii) ⇔\Leftrightarrow (iv) and (iii) ⇔\Leftrightarrow (v) by § 6, no. 5, Corollary 2 to Proposition 13. (iv) ⇔\Leftrightarrow (v) by Chapter I, § 6, Theorem 4.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
