General Topology, chapter I, § 3. Subspaces, quotient spaces

A subset BB of AA is dense in AA if and only if B‾=A‾\overline{B} = \overline{A} in XX (i.e. if and only if A⊂B‾A \subset \overline{B}).

It follows that if A,B,CA, B, C are three subsets of XX such that A⊃B⊃CA \supset B \supset C, and if BB is dense in AA, and CC is dense in BB, then CC is dense in AA (transitivity of density), for we have A‾=B‾=C‾\overline{A} = \overline{B} = \overline{C} in XX.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
