General Topology, chapter I, § 8. Hausdorff spaces and regular spaces

Let F1\mathfrak{F}_1 be a filter on a set X1X_1, and F2\mathfrak{F}_2 a filter on a set X2X_2; let F1×F2\mathfrak{F}_1 \times \mathfrak{F}_2 be the product filter (§ 6, no. 7) on X=X1×X2X = X_1 \times X_2, and let f be a mapping of X into a regular space Y. Suppose that a) lim⁡F1×F2f\lim_{\mathfrak{F}_1 \times \mathfrak{F}_2} f exists.

b) lim⁡x2,F2f(x1,x2)=g(x1)\lim_{x_2, \mathfrak{F}_2} f(x_1, x_2) = g(x_1) exists for all x1∈X1x_1 \in X_1.

Then lim⁡x1,F1g(x1)\lim_{x_1, \mathfrak{F}_1} g(x_1) exists and is equal to lim⁡F1×F2f\lim_{\mathfrak{F}_1 \times \mathfrak{F}_2} f.

Let X1′=X1∪{ω1}X'_1 = X_1 \cup \{\omega_1\} (resp. X2′=X2∪{ω2}X'_2 = X_2 \cup \{\omega_2\}) be the topological space associated with the filter F1\mathfrak{F}_1 (resp. F2\mathfrak{F}_2) (§ 6, no. 5, Example). In the product space X′=X1′×X2′X' = X'_1 \times X'_2 let X′′X'' be the union of the subspaces X1×X2′X_1 \times X'_2 and {(ω1,ω2)}\{(\omega_1, \omega_2)\}. XX is clearly a dense subspace of X′′X'', and the hypotheses imply that f(y1,y2)f(y_1, y_2) tends to a limit when (y1,y2)(y_1, y_2) tend to any point (x1,x2)(x_1, x_2) of X′′X'' whilst remaining in XX. The existence of the extension of ff by continuity to X′′X'' then follows from Theorem 1. Since also (ω1,ω2)(\omega_1, \omega_2) lies in the closure of X1×{ω2}X_1 \times \{\omega_2\} relative to X′′X'', the result follows immediately (§ 7, no. 5).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
