General Topology, chapter I, § 9. Compact spaces and locally compact spaces

Every compact subset of a Hausdorff space is closed.

Let AA be a compact subset of a Hausdorff space XX, and let xx be any point of A‾\overline{A}; we have to show that x∈Ax \in A. By hypothesis, every neighbourhood of xx meets AA, and therefore the neighbourhood filter B\mathfrak{B} of xx in XX induces a filter BA\mathfrak{B}_A on AA; AA is compact whence BA\mathfrak{B}_A has a cluster point y∈Ay \in A. Since the filter B\mathfrak{B} is coarser than the filter on XX generated by BA\mathfrak{B}_A (considered as a filter base on XX), yy is also a cluster point of B\mathfrak{B}; hence y=xy = x, because B\mathfrak{B} converges to xx in XX and XX is Hausdorff (§ 8, no. 1, Proposition 1).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
