General Topology, chapter II, § 3. Complete spaces

(i) The subspace i(X)i(X) is dense in X^\hat{X}. (ii) The graph of the equivalence relation i(x)=i(x′)i(x) = i(x') is the intersection of the entourages of XX. (iii) The uniform structure of XX is the inverse image under ii of that of X^\hat{X} [or of that of the subspace i(X)i(X)]. (iv) The entourages of i(X)i(X) are the images under i×ii \times i of the entourages of XX, and the closures in X^×X^\hat{X} \times \hat{X} of the entourages of i(X)i(X) form a fundamental system of entourages of X^\hat{X}.

(i) and (iii) have been proved in the course of the proof of Theorem 3; (iv) is a consequence of (i) and (iii) by virtue of general results proved earlier (§ 2, no. 4, Remark and Proposition 6). The relation

i(x)=i(x′) i(x) = i(x')
means by definition that xx and x′x' have the same neighbourhood filter. But this implies, by definition, that (x,x′)∈V(x, x') \in V for every entourage VV of XX, and the converse is obvious.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
