General Topology, chapter III, § 2. Subgroups, quotient groups, homomorphisms homogeneous spaces, product groups

Let GG be a topological group and let HH be a subgroup of GG which is locally closed at one point of HH (Chapter I, § 3, no. 3, Definition 2). Then HH is closed in GG.

By translation, HH is locally closed at each of its points, i.e. HH is locally closed in GG. Let VV be a symmetric open neighbourhood of ee in GG such that V∩HV \cap H is closed in VV. If x∈H‾x \in \overline{H}, then xVxV meets HH; if y∈xV∩Hy \in xV \cap H, we have x∈yVx \in yV, and y(V∩H)=(yV)∩Hy(V \cap H) = (yV) \cap H is closed in yVyV. But xx lies in the closure of (yV)∩H(yV) \cap H, hence x∈Hx \in H.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
