General Topology, chapter III, § 2. Subgroups, quotient groups, homomorphisms homogeneous spaces, product groups

Let HH be a dense subgroup of a topological group GG, and let KK be a normal subgroup of HH. Then the closure K‾\overline{K} of KK in GG is a normal subgroup of GG.

For the mapping (z,x)→zxz−1(z, x) \to zxz^{-1} is continuous on G×GG \times G, and maps H×KH \times K into KK; hence (Chapter I, § 2, no. 1, Theorem 1) it maps G×K‾=H‾×KG \times \overline{K} = \overline{H} \times K into K‾\overline{K}.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
