General Topology, chapter III, § 2. Subgroups, quotient groups, homomorphisms homogeneous spaces, product groups

The canonical bijection of the subspace φ(A)\varphi(A) of X/GX/G onto the orbit space A′/GA'/G is a homeomorphism.

Now let SS be an equivalence relation on XX such that, for each s∈Gs \in G, the mapping x→s.xx \to s.x is compatible with SS [in other words, such that the relation x≡y(modS)x \equiv y \pmod{S} implies s.x≡s.y(modS)s.x \equiv s.y \pmod{S}]; for the sake of brevity we shall say that the relation SS is compatible with the group GG. If ψ\psi is the canonical mapping of XX onto X/SX/S, and if s.ψ(x)s.\psi(x) denotes the class mod SS of s.xs.x, then X/SX/S has GG as groups of operators with respect to the external law (s,ψ(x))→s.ψ(x)=ψ(s.x)(s, \psi(x)) \to s.\psi(x) = \psi(s.x). Moreover:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
