General Topology, chapter III, § 2. Subgroups, quotient groups, homomorphisms homogeneous spaces, product groups

If GG is a commutative topological group, written additively, then the mapping (x,y)→x+y(x, y) \to x + y of G×GG \times G onto GG is a strict morphism. For since (x+x′)+(y+y′)=(x+y)+(x′+y′)(x + x') + (y + y') = (x + y) + (x' + y') it is a homomorphism of G×GG \times G onto GG; also it is continuous, and the image of a neighbourhood V×VV \times V of the origin in G×GG \times G under this mapping is the neighbourhood V+VV + V of the origin in GG.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
