General Topology, chapter VII, § 1. Subgroups and quotient groups of $\mathbf{R}^n$

A point xx lies in the closure of a subgroup GG of Rn\mathbf{R}^n if and only if (u∣x)(u|x) is an integer for all u∈Rnu \in \mathbf{R}^n such that (u∣y)(u|y) is an integer for all y∈Gy \in G.

Let us apply this characterization of points lying in the closure of a subgroup GG to the case of the subgroup GG generated by the nn vectors eje_j of the canonical basis (1≤j≤n)(1 \leq j \leq n) and by an arbitrary number mm of points aia_i (1≤i≤m)(1 \leq i \leq m) of Rn\mathbf{R}^n. To say that (u∣ej)(u|e_j) is an integer for 1≤j≤n1 \leq j \leq n means that the nn coordinates of uu are integers; therefore:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
