General Topology, chapter VII, § 1. Subgroups and quotient groups of $\mathbf{R}^n$

Let G1,G2G_1, G_2 be two lattices in Rn\mathbf{R}^n (no. 1) such that G2⊂G1G_2 \subset G_1: then (Proposition 5) G1∗G_1^* and G2∗G_2^* are lattices in Rn\mathbf{R}^n such that G1∗⊂G2∗G_1^* \subset G_2^*. We have seen in no. 1 that there is an integer m>0m > 0 such that mG1⊂G2m G_1 \subset G_2;

consequently for x∈G1x \in G_1 and u∈G2∗u \in G_2^* we have m(u∣x)∈Zm(u|x) \in \mathbf{Z} and therefore (u∣x)∈Q(u|x) \in \mathbf{Q}. If x∈G2x \in G_2 and u∈G2∗u \in G_2^*, or if x∈G1x \in G_1 and u∈G1∗u \in G_1^*, we have (u∣x)∈Z(u|x) \in \mathbf{Z} by definition. Consequently on passing to the quotients the Z\mathbf{Z}-bilinear mapping (x,u)→(u∣x)(x, u) \to (u|x) of G1×G2∗G_1 \times G_2^* into Q\mathbf{Q} defines a Z\mathbf{Z}-bilinear mapping BB of (G1/G2)×(G2∗/G1∗)(G_1/G_2) \times (G_2^*/G_1^*) into Q/Z\mathbf{Q}/\mathbf{Z}. Moreover, it is clear that if xˉ0∈G1/G2\bar{x}_0 \in G_1/G_2 (resp. uˉ0∈G2∗/G1∗\bar{u}_0 \in G_2^*/G_1^*) is such that, for each uˉ∈G2∗/G1∗\bar{u} \in G_2^*/G_1^* (resp. for each xˉ∈G1/G2\bar{x} \in G_1/G_2) we have

B(xˉ0,u)=0[resp. B(xˉ,uˉ0)=0], B(\bar{x}_0, u) = 0 \quad [\text{resp. } B(\bar{x}, \bar{u}_0) = 0],

then necessarily xˉ0=0\bar{x}_0 = 0 (resp. uˉ0=0\bar{u}_0 = 0). It follows that there is a Z\mathbf{Z}-linear bijection hh of G2∗/G1∗G_2^*/G_1^* onto the dual of G1/G2G_1/G_2, such that ⟨xˉ,h(uˉ)⟩=B(xˉ,uˉ)\langle \bar{x}, h(\bar{u}) \rangle = B(\bar{x}, \bar{u}) for xˉ∈G1/G2\bar{x} \in G_1/G_2 and uˉ∈G2∗/G1∗\bar{u} \in G_2^*/G_1^*; in particular, the finite groups G1/G2G_1/G_2 and G2∗/G1∗G_2^*/G_1^* are isomorphic.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
