General Topology, chapter X, § 1. The uniformity of $\mathscr{G}$-convergence

The uniformity of S\mathscr{S}-convergence is the inverse image, under the mapping u→(u∣A)A∈Su \to (u|A)_{A \in \mathscr{S}} of F(X;Y)\mathscr{F}(X; Y) into ∏A∈SFu(A;Y)\prod_{A \in \mathscr{S}} \mathscr{F}_u(A; Y), of the uniformity of this product space (Chapter II, § 2, no. 6, Proposition 8). If S\mathscr{S} is a covering of XX, this mapping is injective and FS(X;Y)\mathscr{F}_\mathscr{S}(X; Y) is therefore isomorphic to the uniform subspace of ∏A∈SFu(A;Y)\prod_{A \in \mathscr{S}} \mathscr{F}_u(A; Y) which is the image of this mapping.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
