General Topology, chapter X, § 3. Special function spaces

Let XX be a set and YY a metric space. Then BS(X;Y)\mathscr{B}_{\mathscr{S}}(X; Y) is closed in FS(X;Y)\mathscr{F}_{\mathscr{S}}(X; Y). In particular, if YY is complete then BS(X;Y)\mathscr{B}_{\mathscr{S}}(X; Y) is complete with respect to the uniformity of S\mathscr{S}-convergence.

For BS(X;Y)\mathscr{B}_\mathfrak{S}(X; Y) is the inverse image of the subset ∏A∈SB(A;Y)\prod_{A \in \mathfrak{S}} \mathscr{B}(A; Y) of the product ∏A∈SFu(X;Y)\prod_{A \in \mathfrak{S}} \mathscr{F}_u(X; Y) under the canonical mapping of FS(X;Y)\mathscr{F}_\mathfrak{S}(X; Y) into ∏A∈SFu(A;Y)\prod_{A \in \mathfrak{S}} \mathscr{F}_u(A; Y); the first assertion therefore follows from § 1, no. 2, Remark 3, and the second follows from the first, if we take account of Theorem 1 of § 1, no. 5.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
