General Topology, chapter X, § 3. Special function spaces

Let II be the interval [0,1][0, 1] in R\mathbf{R}. If YY is any topological space, the space Cc(I;Y)C_c(I; Y) is called the space of paths in YY. For each y∈Yy \in Y, the subspace Ωy(Y)\Omega_y(Y) of Cc(I;Y)C_c(I; Y) consisting of paths uu such that u(0)=u(1)=yu(0) = u(1) = y is called the space of loops (in YY) at the point yy.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
