Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 5. Automorphisms of a semi-simple Lie algebra

Let g\mathfrak{g} be a splittable semi-simple Lie algebra, b\mathfrak{b} a Borel subalgebra of g\mathfrak{g}, and p1\mathfrak{p}_1 and p2\mathfrak{p}_2 distinct parabolic subalgebras of g\mathfrak{g} containing b\mathfrak{b}. Then p1\mathfrak{p}_1 and p2\mathfrak{p}_2 are not conjugate under Aut0(g)_0(\mathfrak{g}).

We can assume that kk is algebraically closed. Let s∈s\in Aut0(g)_0(\mathfrak{g}) be such that s(p1)=p2s(\mathfrak{p}_1) =\mathfrak{p}_2. Let h\mathfrak{h} be a Cartan subalgebra of g\mathfrak{g} contained in b∩s(b)(\mathfrak{b}\cap s(\mathfrak{b}) (§3, no. 3, Prop. 10). Since h\mathfrak{h} and s(h)s(\mathfrak{h}) are Cartan subalgebras of s(b)s(\mathfrak{b}), there exists u∈[b,b]u\in [\mathfrak{b},\mathfrak{b}] such that eadu(h)=s(h)e^{adu}(\mathfrak{h}) =s(\mathfrak{h}) (Chap. VII, §3, no. 4, Th. 3). Replacing ss by e−aduse^{-adu}s, we are reduced to the case in which s(h)=hs(\mathfrak{h}) =\mathfrak{h}, and ss then induces on h\mathfrak{h} an element σ\sigma of the Weyl group W of (g,h)(\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{h}) (Prop. 4). Let C be the Weyl chamber corresponding to b\mathfrak{b}. Then p1\mathfrak{p}_1 and p2\mathfrak{p}_2 correspond to facets F1F_1 and F2F_2 of hR\mathfrak{h}_{\mathbf{R}} contained in the closure of C. We have σ(F1)=F2\sigma (F_1) = F_2. Since σ∈W\sigma \in W, this implies that F1=F2F_1= F_2 (Chap. V, §3, no. 3, Th. 2) so p1=p2\mathfrak{p}_1=\mathfrak{p}_2.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
