Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter IX, § 5. Conjugacy classes

Let x∈Ax\in A; then exp x∈Trx\in T_r, so Z(exp xx)0=T_0= T. Further, exp xx is very regular (no. 1, Remark) if and only if w(x)≠xw(x)\not=x for all w∈Wa′w\in W'_a distinct from the identity. By Cor. 1, this also means that h(x)≠xh(x)\not=x for all h∈HAh\in H_A distinct from the identity. In particular, if G is simply-connected, then ZG(t)=TZ_G(t) = T for all t∈Trt\in T_r, and every regular element of G is very regular.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
