Commutative Algebra, chapter I, § 2. Flat modules

Let A,BA, B be two rings, EE a right AA-module and FF an (A,B)(A,B)-bimodule. Suppose that EE is flat and that FF is flat as a BB-module. Then the BB-module E⊗AFE \otimes_A F is flat.

Let GG be a left BB-module and G′G' a submodule of GG. Since FF is flat as a right BB-module, the canonical homomorphism F⊗BG′→F⊗BGF \otimes_B G' \to F \otimes_B G is injective. Since EE is flat, the canonical homomorphism

E⊗A(F⊗BG′)→E⊗A(F⊗BG) E \otimes_A (F \otimes_B G') \to E \otimes_A (F \otimes_B G)

is injective. As E⊗A(F⊗BG′)E \otimes_A (F \otimes_B G') and E⊗A(F⊗BG)E \otimes_A (F \otimes_B G) are canonically identified with (E⊗AF)⊗BG′(E \otimes_A F) \otimes_B G' and (E⊗AF)⊗BG(E \otimes_A F) \otimes_B G respectively (Algebra, Chapter II, § 3, no. 8, Proposition 8), the canonical homomorphism

(E⊗AF)⊗BG′→(E⊗AF)⊗BG (E \otimes_A F) \otimes_B G' \to (E \otimes_A F) \otimes_B G

is injective, which proves that E⊗AFE \otimes_A F is a flat BB-module.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
