Commutative Algebra, chapter III, § 1. Finitely generated graded algebras

Let p=⨁i≥0pip = \bigoplus_{i \geq 0} p_i be a graded ideal of AA; for pp to be prime, it is necessary and sufficient that, if x∈A, y∈A,x \in A, \ y \in A, satisfy x∉px \notin p and y∉p,y \notin p, then xy∉pxy \notin p.

The condition is obviously necessary. Conversely, if it is fulfilled, then in the graded ring A/p=⨁i≥0Ai/piA/p = \bigoplus_{i \geq 0} A_i/p_i the product of two homogeneous elements ≠0\neq 0 is ≠0\neq 0 and hence A/pA/p is an integral domain (Algebra, Chapter II, § 11, no. 4, Proposition 7).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
