Algebra, chapter II, § 11. Graded modules and rings

Let Δ\Delta be an ordered commutative group, A a graded ring of type Δ\Delta, (Aλ)(A_\lambda) its graduation, M a graded A-module of type Δ\Delta and (Mλ)(M_\lambda) its graduation. Suppose that the relation Aλ≠{0}A_\lambda \neq \{0\} implies λ≥0\lambda \geq 0 and that there exists λ0\lambda_0 such that Mλ0≠{0}M_{\lambda_0} \neq \{0\} and Mλ={0}M_\lambda = \{0\} for λ<λ0\lambda < \lambda_0. Then, if I0=∑λ>0Aλ\mathfrak{I}_0 = \sum_{\lambda > 0} A_\lambda, I0M≠M\mathfrak{I}_0 M \neq M.

Let xx be a non-zero element of Mλ0M_{\lambda_0}; suppose that x∈I0Mx \in \mathfrak{I}_0 M. Then x=∑iaixix = \sum_i a_i x_i, where the aia_i are homogeneous elements ≠0\neq 0 of I0\mathfrak{I}_0 and the xix_i homogeneous elements ≠0\neq 0 of M with deg⁡(x)=deg⁡(ai)+deg⁡(xi)\deg(x) = \deg(a_i) + \deg(x_i) for all ii (no. 2). But, as deg⁡(ai)>0\deg(a_i) > 0, λ0=deg⁡(ai)+deg⁡(xi)>deg⁡(xi)\lambda_0 = \deg(a_i) + \deg(x_i) > \deg(x_i), which contradicts the hypothesis.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
