Integration, chapter IV, § 5. Measurable functions and sets
— Let be a locally countable family of -measurable subsets of , pairwise disjoint and such that is locally -negligible. If, for every class and every , denotes the class of the restriction to of any of the functions in the class , then the mapping is an isomorphism of the uniform space onto the product uniform space .
It follows from No. 10, Prop. 16 that is bijective. Consider an entourage of that is the canonical image of a , where is a compact subset of ; we know that the set of such that is countable (No. 9), and ; therefore, there exists a finite subset of such that
The image of under is then contained in the canonical image of the product . On the other hand, if is the number of elements of , then the image of under contains the canonical image of the entourage , which proves the proposition.
Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
