Integration, VII, p. 32, § 2. Quotient of a space by a group; homogeneous spaces

Let f be a function on X, with values in a topological space.

a) If f is a numerical function ≥0\geq 0 then, for x∈Xx \in X,

∫X∗f(y) dβx˙(y)=∫H∗f(xξ) dβ(ξ)(x˙=π(x)). \int_X^* f(y)\, d\beta_{\dot{x}}(y) = \int_H^* f(x\xi)\, d\beta(\xi) \quad (\dot{x} = \pi(x)).

b) For f to be βx˙\beta_{\dot{x}}-measurable, it is necessary and sufficient that the function ξ↦f(xξ)\xi \mapsto f(x\xi) on H be β\beta-measurable.

c) Suppose that f is a function on X, with values in a Banach space or in R‾\overline{\mathbf{R}}; then, for f to be βx˙\beta_{\dot{x}}-integrable (resp. essentially βx˙\beta_{\dot{x}}-integrable), it is necessary and sufficient that the function ξ↦f(xξ)\xi \mapsto f(x\xi) on H be β\beta-integrable (resp. essentially β\beta-integrable), in which case ∫Xf(y) dβx˙(y)=∫Hf(xξ) dβ(ξ)\int_X f(y)\, d\beta_{\dot{x}}(y) = \int_H f(x\xi)\, d\beta(\xi).

This follows from Ch. V, §4, Prop. 2, Prop. 3 and Th. 2.

Since f♭∈K(X/H)f^\flat \in \mathscr{K}(X/H) for f∈K(X)f \in \mathscr{K}(X), formula (8) proves that the mapping u↦βuu \mapsto \beta_u of X/HX/H into M(X)\mathscr{M}(X) is vaguely continuous, that the family (βu)(\beta_u) is λ\lambda-adequate1^1 for any positive measure λ\lambda on X/HX/H, and that

λ#=∫X/Hβu dλ(u), \lambda^\# = \int_{X/H} \beta_u\, d\lambda(u),

which furnishes a new interpretation of λ#\lambda^\#.

1^1 In the sense of the first edition of Ch. V, hence a fortiori in the sense of the second (cf. the footnote to the Example of Ch. VI, §1, No. 1).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
