Integration, chapter VII, § 2. Quotient of a space by a group; homogeneous spaces

— Let λ\lambda be a positive measure on X/HX/H.

a) Let ff be a λ#\lambda^\#-measurable function on XX, with values in a topological space, constant outside a countable union of λ#\lambda^\#-integrable sets. Then, the set of x˙∈X/H\dot{x} \in X/H such that the function ξ↦f(xξ)\xi \mapsto f(x\xi) is not β\beta-measurable is locally λ\lambda-negligible.

b) Let ff be a λ#\lambda^\#-measurable function ≥0\geq 0 on XX, zero outside a countable union of λ#\lambda^\#-integrable sets. Then, the function x˙↦∫∗f(xξ)dβ(ξ)\dot{x} \mapsto \int^* f(x\xi) d\beta(\xi) on X/HX/H is λ\lambda-measurable, and

∫X∗f(x)dλ#(x)=∫X/H∗dλ(x˙)∫H∗f(xξ)dβ(ξ)(x˙=π(x)). \int_X^* f(x) d\lambda^\#(x) = \int_{X/H}^* d\lambda(\dot{x}) \int_H^* f(x\xi) d\beta(\xi) \quad (\dot{x} = \pi(x)).

c) Let ff be a λ#\lambda^\#-integrable function on XX, with values in a Banach space or in R‾\overline{\mathbf{R}}. Then, the set of x˙∈X/H\dot{x} \in X/H such that ξ↦f(xξ)\xi \mapsto f(x\xi) is not β\beta-integrable is λ\lambda-negligible; the function fbf^b on X/HX/H defined almost everywhere by the formula

fb(x˙)=∫Hf(xξ)dβ(ξ)(x˙=π(x)) f^b(\dot{x}) = \int_H f(x\xi) d\beta(\xi) \quad (\dot{x} = \pi(x))

is λ\lambda-integrable, and

∫X/Hfbdλ=∫Xfdλ# \int_{X/H} f^b d\lambda = \int_X f d\lambda^\#

and

∫X/H∣fb∣dλ≤∫X∣f∣dλ#. \int_{X/H} |f^b| d\lambda \leq \int_X |f| d\lambda^\#.

d) Let ff be a λ#\lambda^\#-measurable function on XX, with values in a Banach space or in R‾\overline{\mathbf{R}}, and zero outside a countable union of λ#\lambda^\#-integrable sets. Then, for ff to be λ#\lambda^\#-integrable, it is necessary and sufficient that

∫X/H∗dλ(x˙)∫H∗∣f(xξ)∣dβ(ξ)<+∞(x˙=π(x)). \int_{X/H}^* d\lambda(\dot{x}) \int_H^* |f(x\xi)| d\beta(\xi) < +\infty \quad (\dot{x} = \pi(x)).

Taking into account Lemma 2, the assertions a), b) and c) follow from Ch. V, §3, Prop. 4, Prop. 5 and Th. 1 (with the exception of (13), which follows from (12) because it is clear that ∣fb∣≤∣f∣b|f^b| \leq |f|^b); d) follows from b).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
