Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter I, § 6. Semi-simple Lie algebras

Let gg be a Lie algebra and ρ\rho and ρ′\rho' two finite-dimensional semi-simple representations of gg on spaces MM and M′M'. Then the representation of gg on LK(M,M′)\mathscr{L}_K(M, M') canonically derived from ρ\rho and ρ′\rho' is semi-simple.

The gg-module LK(M,M′)\mathscr{L}_K(M, M') is canonically identified with the gg-module M∗⊗KM′M^* \otimes_K M' (§ 3, no. 3, Proposition 4), so that Corollary 3 follows from Corollary 1.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
