Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 6. Real and complex Lie groups

Let GG and HH be Lie groups and hh a continuous morphism of L(G)L(G) into L(H)L(H). Suppose that GG is simply connected. Then there exists one and only one Lie group morphism ϕ\phi of GG into HH such that h=L(ϕ)h = L(\phi).

The existence of ϕ\phi follows from Lemma 1 and § 4, no. 1, Theorem 1 (i). The uniqueness of ϕ\phi follows from § 4, no. 1, Theorem 1 (ii) and the fact that GG is connected.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
