General Topology, chapter II, § 2. Uniformly continuous functions

Let AA be a dense subset of a uniform space XX. Then the closures, in X×XX \times X, of the entourages of the uniform subspace AA form a fundamental system of entourages of XX.

A×AA \times A is dense in X×XX \times X (Chapter I, § 4, no. 3, Proposition 7). Let VV be an open entourage of AA; it is the intersection of A×AA \times A with an open entourage UU of XX. We have U⊂V‾U \subset \overline{V} (Chapter I, § 1, no. 6, Proposition 5), and this relation together with V‾⊂U‾\overline{V} \subset \overline{U} establishes the proposition, in view of § 1, no. 2, Corollary 2 of Proposition 2.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
