General Topology, chapter III, § 7. Inverse limits of topological groups and rings

If the condition (AP) is satisfied and if in addition the (Hausdorff) groups G/HαG/H_\alpha are complete, then the group GG has a Hausdorff completion which can be identified with G~\tilde{G}; and the mapping i:G→G~i : G \to \tilde{G} is then identified with the canonical mapping (§3§ 3, no. 3, Proposition 5).

For G~\tilde{G} is then complete (no. 2), and Proposition 2 shows that i(G)i(G) is isomorphic with the Hausdorff group associated with GG; since it is dense in G~\tilde{G}, the corollary follows (§3§ 3, no. 3, Proposition 5). In particular:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
