General Topology, chapter X, § 2. Equicontinuous sets

Under the hypotheses of Theorem 1, the closure H‾\overline{H} of HH in F(X;Y)\mathscr{F}(X; Y) with respect to the topology of pointwise convergence is the same as the closure of HH in C(X;Y)\mathscr{C}(X; Y) with respect to the topology of compact (resp. precompact) convergence.

For the set H‾\overline{H} is equicontinuous (resp. uniformly equicontinuous) by Proposition 6 of no. 3, and hence is contained in C(X;Y)\mathscr{C}(X; Y); the result follows immediately from the fact that, on H‾\overline{H}, the two topologies under consideration are the same, by virtue of Theorem 1.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
