Commutative Algebra, chapter III, § 3. m-adic topologies on Noetherian rings

If AA is a commutative Noetherian ring, the ring of formal power series A[[X1,…,Xn]]A[[X_1, \ldots, X_n]] is a flat AA-module.

It is the completion of the polynomial ring

B=A[X1,…,Xn] B = A[X_1, \ldots, X_n]
with respect to the mm-adic topology, where mm is the set of polynomials with no constant term (§2,§ 2, no. 12, Example 1); as BB is Noetherian (§2,§ 2, no. 10, Corollary 2 to Theorem 2), A[[X1,…,Xn]]A[[X_1, \ldots, X_n]] is a flat BB-module by Theorem 3 and, as BB is free AA-module, A[[X1,…,Xn]]A[[X_1, \ldots, X_n]] is a flat AA-module (Chapter I, § 2, no. 7, Corollary 3 to Proposition 8).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
