Commutative Algebra, chapter IV, § 2. Primary decomposition

Let AA be a Noetherian ring, MM an AA-module, NN a submodule of MM, N=⋂i∈IQiN = \bigcap_{i \in I} Q_i a reduced primary decomposition of NN in MM and, for all i∈Ii \in I, let {pi}=Ass(M/Qi)\{p_i\} = \mathrm{Ass}(M/Q_i). If pip_i is a minimal element of Ass(M/N)\mathrm{Ass}(M/N), QiQ_i is equal to the saturation on NN with respect to pip_i (Chapter 11, § 2, no. 4) (cf. Exercise 2).

We can obviously restrict our attention to the case where N=0N = 0, replacing if need be MM by M/NM/N. If pip_i is minimal in Ass(M)\mathrm{Ass}(M), the set of elements of Ass(M)\mathrm{Ass}(M) which do not meet A−piA - p_i reduces to pip_i; the proposition then follows from formula (3) above and § 1, no. 2, Proposition 6, the kernel of the canonical mapping M→M0M \to M_0, being equal to the saturation of 0 with respect to pip_i (Chapter 11, § 2, no. 4).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
