Algebra, V, p. 98, § 13. p-radical extensions of height _ 1

Let KK be a field, LL a pp-radical extension of height ≤1\leq 1 of KK and x=(xi)i∈Ix = (x_i)_{i \in I}, a family of elements of LL. Then the vector space K(xi)i∈IK(x_i)_{i \in I} over KK is generated by the products x′′=∏i∈Ixiαix'' = \prod_{i \in I} x_i^{\alpha_i} for aa in AA. For (xi)i∈I(x_i)_{i \in I} to be pp-free (resp. a pp-basis) it is necessary and sufficient that the family (xa)a∈A(x^a)_{a \in A} should be free over KK (resp. a basis of LL over KK).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
