Integration, chapter III, § 1. Measures on a locally compact space

Every positive linear form on the Riesz space K(X;R)\mathscr{K}(X; \mathbf{R}) is a (positive) real measure on XX.

For, let μ\mu be a positive linear form on K(X;R)\mathscr{K}(X; \mathbf{R}) and let KK be a compact subset of XX. There exists a continuous mapping f0f_0 of XX into [0,1][0, 1], with compact support, such that f0(x)=1f_0(x) = 1 on KK (No. 2, Lemma 1). For every function g∈K(X,K;R)g \in \mathscr{K}(X, K; \mathbf{R}), we thus have −∥g∥f0≤g≤∥g∥f0-\|g\|f_0 \leq g \leq \|g\|f_0, consequently ∣μ(g)∣≤∥g∥⋅μ(f0)|\mu(g)| \leq \|g\| \cdot \mu(f_0), which proves the theorem.

We denote by M+(X)\mathscr{M}_+(X) the pointed convex cone of positive measures on XX (or, what amounts to the same thing, the cone of positive linear forms on the Riesz space K(X;R)\mathscr{K}(X; \mathbf{R})).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
