General Topology, chapter I, § 8. Hausdorff spaces and regular spaces

*Let (Xα,fαβ)(X_\alpha, f_{\alpha \beta}) be an inverse system of topological spaces. If the XαX_\alpha are Hausdorff, then X=lim←⁡XαX = \varprojlim X_\alpha is Hausdorff and is a closed subspace of ∏αXα\prod_\alpha X_\alpha.

The first assertion follows from the fact that XX is a subspace of the Hausdorff space ∏αXα\prod_\alpha X_\alpha (Proposition 7). To show that XX is closed in the product space, let FαβF_{\alpha \beta} (α≤β\alpha \leq \beta) be the subset of ∏αXα\prod_\alpha X_\alpha consisting of points xx for which pr⁡αx=fαβ(pr⁡βx)\operatorname{pr}_\alpha x = f_{\alpha \beta}(\operatorname{pr}_\beta x); the FαβF_{\alpha \beta} are closed in ∏αXα\prod_\alpha X_\alpha (no. 1, Proposition 2), hence so is their intersection XX.

Evidently, any sum of Hausdorff spaces (§ 2, no. 4, Example 3) is a Hausdorff space.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
