General Topology, chapter I, § 8. Hausdorff spaces and regular spaces
Let be two continuous mappings of a topological space into a Hausdorff space ; then the set of all such that is closed in .
For this set is the inverse image of the diagonal of under the mapping , which is continuous (§ 4, no. 1, Proposition 1). The result therefore follows from (Hii) and § 2, no. 1, Theorem 1.
Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
